The Contemporary Art Museum will stand as a major cultural landmark in the AlUla Oasis. Designed by Paris-based architect Lina Ghotmeh, the museum offers a unique architectural and environmental experience, structured as an archipelago of pavilion galleries interspersed with a mosaic of artist gardens.
The museum’s focus is on 21st-century artists, featuring a core collection called ‘Three Seas,’ representing the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the eastern Mediterranean. Additionally, there’s the ‘Continents’ collection, which brings artworks from around the world to AlUla, and a series of land art works.
Avesta Group managed the operational aspects of the museum, overseeing market and visitor studies, as well as developing governance and institutional plans, an operational plan, and a business plan for the institution.
