MARRAKECH MUSEUM FOR PHOTOGRAPHY AND VISUAL ART

The Marrakech Museum for Photography and Visual Art will be the first institution entirely devoted to the dissemination and promotion of images from Morocco, Africa, and the Middle East. The museum aims to be a major player in the dialogue between Western and African cultures, offering a cross-sectional view of the continent.

Avesta Group has been involved in shaping the future institution, focusing on its positioning, program of activities, as well as all operational and financial plans. We also provided guidance to Chipperfield Architects to finalize the building plans of the museum in terms of functional flows and carried out the detailed list of spaces.
