In developing AlUla as a cultural nexus and arts centre, the Royal Commission for AlUla relies on expert panels and advisory bodies to inform their decisions. Each panel or body focuses on a specific area, project, or cultural asset and provides valuable industry-specific insight and guidance for the RCU.
At RCU’s request, Avesta Group provided key administrative and logistical support for RCU Expert Panels. This included suggesting experts, developing charter documents, negotiating contracts, and organising meetings with comprehensive logistical and event management support.
Avesta Group established a total of seven Expert Panels covering various topics: public arts, heritage, and cultural and arts museums. This involved coordinating 50 experts from six different countries and organising their online meetings and field trips.
