Avesta Group took part in the reconversion of a 20Ha urban park called Al-Shaheed Park, a garden built in the early 1960s. Avesta’s skills helped in the elaboration of appropriate strategic planning for both Memorial Museum and Habitat Museum. The expanded Al-Shaheed Park is a recreation area and civic landmark for Kuwait City. Its museums — Memorial at one end, Habitat at the other — help new and old generations alike to understand their homeland’s history and natural heritage.
The Habitat Museum is an engaging, memorable learning adventure for Kuwaitis young and old and a destination for school groups. The Museum showcases the work of Kuwaiti scientists so that visitors can see the country through their skilled eyes.
