Covering 1,200 hectares, Al Ain Oasis, the largest oasis in the United Arab Emirates and is a key component of the Cultural Sites of Al Ain, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The oasis provides an authentic representation of the life of the region’s inhabitants nearly 4,000 years ago, showcasing traditional agricultural practices and water management systems.
Following its public opening, the Abu Dhabi Department of Tourism and Culture enlisted Avesta Group to elevate the oasis’s operations. This initiative aims to achieve international standards in visitor experience and in preserving the oasis’s ecological and historical significance, ensuring that the oasis remains a vibrant educational and cultural resource for both locals and tourists.
