Al-Shaheed Park serves as a recreational area and civic landmark for Kuwait City. Originally built in the early 1960s, the 20-hectare urban park was transformed into a cultural park. This transformation included the creation of two museums: the Memorial Museum and the Habitat Museum, located at opposite ends of the park. The Memorial Museum helps Kuwaitis appreciate the courage of their countrymen. It is a place where visitors can learn about the nation’s history and contribute to its narrative by sharing their memories and personal artifacts.
