The Royal Commission for AlUla was established in 2017 to preserve and develop the archaeological and historical sites of this region, as well as to position the destination as a prominent hub for the arts. With over 25 cultural sites already open to the public and large-scale assets simultaneously in development, the current operational model faced challenges and bottlenecks that required agile and tailored solutions. At this critical juncture, Avesta Group provided crucial support, offering recommendations to revamp the organisational structure, formalise the chain of command, and streamline operational procedures for improved efficiency.
Moreover, Avesta Group helped devise a pragmatic resource allocation strategy to accompany the institution’s further development and ensure the successful delivery of cultural assets.
