The Russian Impressionism Museum opened on the site of the former Bolshevik Factory in Moscow. The project was initiated by the private collector Boris Mints, and is to date the only cultural institution in the world dedicated to Russian impressionism.
Avesta Group began by refining the concept of the future institution to align with its ambitions. The resulting concept served as a basis to define the functions and services to be offered within the building. Working closely with John McAslan Architects, our facility planners crafted the best possible solutions for art museum facilities. Finally, Avesta Group developed a comprehensive set of operating models, including a 5-year business plan and a strategic cultural programme for the same period.
