INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE VALORISATION STRATEGY

Aligned with international best practices and tailored to local specificities, Avesta Group produced a five-year strategy for safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage of AlUla. Underpinned by an extensive assessment of current ICH-related policies, programmes, and activities in AlUla, the strategy proposes: a short-term and long-term governance structure to lead and support ICH initiatives; the creation and maintenance of a community lead ICH inventory; and the establishment of safeguarding activities and capacity building programmes.

The strategy includes detailed KPIs and is complemented by an in-depth action plan and budget for all of the proposed initiatives and resource required for implementation.
