The Sino-Russian Cultural Exchange Center in Lanzhou, Gansu Province, is a 55,000 sqm indoor and outdoor complex conceived as a dynamic cultural forum dedicated to fostering dialogue between China and Russia, with a particular focus on visual arts, design and crafts. Avesta Group was commissioned by Lan Zhou Rui Jian Investment and Development Co. Ltd. in 2017 to elaborate the vision for this unique project, providing a comprehensive range of services including concept development, strategic planning, masterplanning, institutional planning, operational and financial planning, facility strategy and planning, architectural brief, cultural programming, event programming, and exhibition planning.
