The Museo del Sudario, or Shroud Museum, is dedicated to the story and science behind the Holy Shroud of Jesus Christ, also known as the Shroud of Turin.
The Shroud Museum begins by exploring the story of the Passion of the Christ, then showcases the extensive research conducted on the Shroud of Turin since its discovery. The immersive experience spans two separate buildings, featuring interactive and advanced technological components that invite visitors to fully engage with the mystery of the Shroud.
Avesta Group developed the museum’s initial concept and content through a comprehensive anatomical, iconographic, and historical analysis of the Shroud, followed by work on the exhibition design and space planning.
