NMEC NATIONAL MUSEUM OF EGYPTIAN CIVILIZATION

The NMEC is the first of its kind in Egypt and the Arab world. It presents the full range of the richness and diversity of Egyptian civilisation throughout the ages, from prehistoric times to the present day by focusing on its continuity and stability as demonstrated by its tangible and intangible heritage. The museum’s exhibits cover various aspects of Egyptian civilization, including art, architecture, religion, daily life, and technology.

Its aim is to educate visitors about the significance and contributions of ancient Egypt to world history and civilization. Avesta Group was contracted to enhance the attractiveness and financial viability of the museum. Based on a comprehensive visitor study, we devised a new strategy to attract visitors to the park surrounding the museum and introduced paid programmes. Additionally, Avesta Group developed a comprehensive business plan and tenant strategy for the adjacent shopping mall, which includes over 50 shops.
