MUSEUM OF LES 24 HEURES DU MANS

Avesta Group led the planning and supervision of the Musée des 24 Heures du Mans renovation. Situated near the circuit’s main gate, the museum, initially founded as the Automobile Museum de la Sarthe in 1961, transitioned to focus on the 24 Hours Road Race in 1991.

Our role extended from conceptualizing the museum’s vision to organizing an architectural competition. The renovation transformed the museum, highlighting over 100 remarkable cars, collectibles, films, and archival photographs. Organized into six engaging sequences, the museum tour immerses visitors in the race’s heroes and Le Mans’ automotive heritage, attracting approximately 100,000 visitors annually.
