Opened in Paris in 2007, Le Laboratoire is an art and design space where science meets creativity. As part of the international ArtScience Labs network founded by David Edwards, a Harvard professor and writer, it hosts exhibitions born from collaborations between artists and scientists, with educational, humanitarian, and sometimes commercial aims, showcasing innovations that lead to new products.
Avesta Group was tasked with developing this project. We proposed a comprehensive concept and business model, working closely with David Edwards. Our team meticulously planned the opening, creating operational, financial, and institutional plans, including 2-3 temporary exhibitions per year.
Le Laboratoire’s launch was an immediate success, both due to the general public’s interest in the project and with the institution’s very sustainable financial model.
