The Khozam Palace, one of the most important historical palaces in the Kingdom, was constructed as a royal residence in the 1930s and bore witness to many historical events during the reigns of King Abdulaziz and King Saud. It has hosted several influential meetings between the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the US, including the signing of the first oil concession deal between Saudi Arabia and the Standard Oil Company of California in 1933, which marks the birth of Arabian oil.
Avesta Group has collaborated with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to revitalise the heritage building, transforming it into a key cultural destination in Jeddah. Our work notably includes developing exhibition concepts, creating content, planning facilities, and establishing an economic model.
