The House of History is an innovative institution aimed to present Austrian history from the 19th century to the 20th century, engaging a wide audience through a fresh, dynamic approach.
Avesta Group’s involvement began at an early stage, as we developed the entire concept for the museum, departing from traditional models. We envisioned a cultural institution that would captivate visitors with its unique presentation of historical narratives. In addition to conceptualisation, we created a comprehensive masterplan, drawing on our expertise in institutional, operational, and financial planning.
However, in May 2011, due to budgetary considerations, the Austrian Federal Government decided to postpone the project’s realisation.
