HA’IL REGIONAL MUSEUM

The Ha’il region in Saudi Arabia, also known as the ‘land of generosity’ boasts a rich cultural and historical heritage dating back thousands of years. As part of the National Transformation Programme 2030, which aims to establish 13 regional museums nationwide, the Ha’il Regional Museum endeavours to safeguard the area’s rich heritage while stimulating tourism and economic development. The museum is delivering a comprehensive exploration of the history, society and culture of Ha’il, offering a kaleidoscopic view of the region’s civilisation.

Avesta Group spearheaded various aspects of this project, including exhibition planning, interpretive planning, content development, as well as the collection’s strategy, the formulation of operational, financial plans, and the overarching functional masterplan for the site.
