Like the renowned Coachella Valley event, Desert X AlUla is an open-air contemporary art exhibition set against the stunning backdrop of AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The exhibition features large-scale land artworks crafted by established and emerging artists from various parts of the world, focusing particularly on artists from the MENA region.
Avesta Group has taken part in two editions of Desert X AlUla, concentrating on enhancing educational engagement and enriching visitor experience to foster conversations between art, nature, and the public. Through community engagement efforts, Avesta Group has effectively organised tailored school visits, guide training for the exhibition, and the development of activity booklets featuring pre-visit, during-visit and post-visit activities designed for teachers and children of different age groups.
