CITÉ DE LA VOILE – ÉRIC TABARLY

Designed by architect Jacques Ferrier, the Cité de la Voile – Eric Tabarly (City of Sailing – Eric Tabarly) is part of the conversion project of the Keroman site former submarines base. In tribute to the renowned sailor Eric Tabarly, who tragically disappeared at sea on June 13, 1998, the City aims to raise public awareness of the world of sailing through exhibitions, conferences, and various events.

Avesta Group was tasked with completely reorganizing the original exhibition to modernize it. The traditional gallery underwent a transformation into a multimedia and interactive exhibition, featuring boat construction methods alongside narratives and sailing techniques. Avesta Group not only contributed to the exhibition’s conceptualization but also provided hands-on assistance throughout the entire redesign process, from early concept to fit out.
