Barzan Living Gardens are located amidst AlUla’s ancient Oasis and is a living museum of nature and history that encompasses a wide range of points of interest: from ancient monuments to gardens, greenhouses, and workshops. Avesta Group supported Royal Commission for AlUla in the development of the educational and cultural programming for the activation of those gardens in the autumn of 2022.
Avesta Group developed a set of family activities inviting to discover the garden’s history, and the farming traditions of the oasis. Avesta was in charge of the content development and graphic design creation of the Explorer Pack Booklet and Educative Activities, dedicated to visiting families and school groups. Conceived as an active exploration of the gardens’ features and heritage, the Explorer Pack Booklet encouraged young visitors and their family members to gain insights into the daily habits and challenges in the lives of the local farmers.
