ANTARAH’S ROCK HERITAGE SITE

Known as Sakhrat Antarah in Arabic, Antarah’s Rock is a key tourist attraction in Uyun Al-Jiwa, northwest of Al-Qassim Province. The site honours Antarah ibn Shaddad, a 6th-century pre-Islamic poet and warrior from Najd. Avesta Group enhanced the site’s emotional impact by highlighting its connection to Antarah’s life and poetry, reflecting both Antarah’s heroic narrative and his intimate love story with Abla that took place in the shadow of these rocks. This initiative preserves a poignant historical narrative and celebrates the site’s intrinsic natural beauty.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture chose Avesta Group to oversee planning, design, interpretation, collection management, and scientific content development for the Antarah’s Rock Heritage Site.
