AL-QASSIM REGIONAL MUSEUM

Al-Qassim Regional Museum is located in the eponymous region, also known as the food basket of the kingdom due to its boasting natural resources. The museum aims to narrate the history of the region through the prism of its natural heritage and the long and rich history of human interaction with nature resulting in the creation of a diverse economic, social, and cultural legacy. The permanent exhibition touches on both Al-Qassim’s tangible and intangible heritage from prehistoric times to the present day, presenting a complete panorama of the region’s history and culture.

Avesta Group crafted a tailor-made concept of the museum, defining its identity, developing a narrative and interpretive strategy for the museum. Avesta Group was also entrusted of defining the programming, operational and financial parameters for the institution.
