Conceived as a leading education hub and participative community center, the museum underscores the rich biodiversity of Jazan’s region, found in its mountains, plains, coasts, and maritime territory. The exhibition also encapsulates the history and contemporary heritage of Jazan, from its prehistoric past to the present, highlighting the region’s connections and exchanges with surrounding countries, and the unique multicultural heritage visible across its many heritage sites.
Avesta Group was entrusted with the museum’s branding, exhibition design, exhibition planning, interpretive planning and content development. Additionally, Avesta Group was responsible for developing the operational and financial plans, as well as creating the overall functional masterplan for the site.
