Situated in Brest, the European capital of oceanography, Oceanopolis is home to 50 aquariums (3.7 million litres of seawater) and over a thousand animal species. It features three pavilions dedicated to polar, tropical, and temperate marine ecosystems, plus a fourth for temporary exhibitions. The park offers immersive experiences, educational programs, shows, videos, and dining options.
Avesta Group contributed to Oceanopolis’ expansion, leveraging our expertise in management and coordination. Our role began with thorough space design, blending scientific rigor with captivating presentations of ocean life. We handled estimation, budgeting, project management, and site coordination, ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders to revitalise the 8,700 square meter attraction.
