Situated in the city of Taif, the palace was used by royalty as their summer residence during the reign of King Abdulaziz Al Saud.
In an effort to promote culture and local heritage, the Ministry of Culture is leading the transformation of Shubra Palace into a contemporary museum.
The exhibition will serve as a gateway to the region, showcasing its unique history dating back thousands of years. Notably, it will highlight iconic elements such as the renowned rose of Taif and the historic Oukaz market. Moreover, a key objective of the project is to raise awareness about the significance of preserving Saudi heritage.
Avesta Group is accompanying the Museum Commission in this transformation, working on exhibition development, branding, as well as on operational and financial aspects of the project.
