Ekaterina Kochetkova holds a PhD in Art History from Lomonosov Moscow State University, with a focus on European art of the Renaissance and Mannerism. Apart from her academic interests, she is involved in cultural projects management, in particular in the field of contemporary art.

Ekaterina has several years’ first-hand experience within public and private cultural institutions, including museums, art foundations, and exhibition centers. She often takes up roles with wide-ranging responsibilities, from directing large-scale projects to running PR and media campaigns, from building and implementing development strategies to research work and writing. Such diverse activities have helped Ekaterina to develop a sound comprehension of the challenges facing the cultural sphere today and the ways of handling them effectively.

Ekaterina also enjoys teaching and sharing knowledge, so she regularly lectures on both art historical topics and practical matters of working in the cultural sector.

With a fluency in Russian, English and French, as well as solid skills in Spanish and Italian, Ekaterina has particular expertise in international communications and loves working in demanding multicultural environments. She is member of ICOM (International Council of Museums) and its International Committee for Marketing and Public Relations.
