Designed by architect Jacques Ferrier, the City of Sailing Eric Tabarly is part of the conversion project of the Keroman site former submarines base.

Built in homage to the famous sailor Eric Tabarly disappeared at sea on June 13, 1998 the City intends to sensitize the public to the world of sailing through exhibitions, conferences and various animations.

The City of Sailing Eric Tabarly is a multimedia exhibition center located in Lorient (France). It presents a lively and informative way, construction methods of modern and old sailing ships, as well as the stories and techniques of sailing, while offering the opportunity to experience fishing trips. It is also the port home of most of the Pen Duicks of the navigator, which can be observed at each of their stops in Lorient.
